The Foundation
Since 1948, the WHS Foundation has turned alumnae generosity into scholarships, internships, and leadership classrooms.
What We Fund
Where Your Gift Goes
The Foundation is the charitable heart of the sisterhood. Every dollar is restricted to education — never operations — and every award is reported back to donors each Founders Day.
Life-Changing Scholarships
$128,400 awarded last year to forty-two collegiate sisters — merit awards, need-based grants, and the Second Century Scholarship for first-generation students. Applications open each October; recipients are announced at Founders Day.
Ask About ApplyingCareer-Shaping Internships
Stipends place sisters in design studios, newsrooms, labs, and public service each summer — including endowed seats with Magnolia & Thread and the Lexington Literacy Corps. Alumnae mentors guide every intern.
