Sisters celebrating the record Second Century Fund year

Second Century Fund Closes a Record Year

The WHS Foundation has closed its strongest fundraising year to date, with alumnae and friends contributing $486,000 to the Second Century Fund. The total endows six new named scholarships and fully funds this summer’s Hollow Lead Academy. “Our sisters give the way they live — generously and on purpose,” said Foundation chair Helen Marsh Whitaker. Scholarship applications for the new awards open in October.
